What I've been reading since January

I know it's been yonks. For those of you who were concerned, I am alive, well and indolent, unharmed by the lizard man of Santa Cruz, open man holes, belligerent autorickshaw drivers or any of the other near-fatal dangers that stalk Bombay. Work's eased up for the most part but I haven't really felt up to writing reviews. Maybe, I'll do short ones over the coming weekend. It's been a mixed bag; good, bad and dreadful. I've read some great non-fiction; mostly history. Maybe, that'll be my theme for this year.
